The Cowley Club is a social centre on London Road in Brighton. It houses a cafe and bookshop during the day, a members bar during the evenings, it also has a library and is a base for a variety of other projects.

The club is run entirely by volunteers! Everyone gives their time for free and works together without bosses.

I think this place is amazing, my first experience was in 2007 when a friend of mine played on an open mic night, amongst other acts. Was really taken by the variety of people and music that is found in such a small little place. Brilliant - makes me miss Brighton.
